After the huge success of our previous activities. We have now released our third sporting challenge.
Anyone who takes part in the challenge and sends us the clip to martin.whiteman@kilburn-jun.derbyshire.sch.uk or uploads the clip directly to the google classroom assignment page before our deadline of Friday 15th May will also receive a representation towards their sports award.

Well done to all of the children (and adults) who sent in clips of themselves taking part in the Kilburn Junior Trick Shot Challenge.
It was great to see so many creative and skillful trick shots you all came up with and hope you all enjoyed taking part.

Team Resilience took the challenge to create an origami fish then wrote a set of instructions for their writing task. The response has been amazing, and the creations and instructions of a brilliant quality. Keep up this amazing home learning and thank you to Team Resilience's parents and families for embracing this challenge.
As part of team Resilience's home learning, they were asked to research and create a piece of art in the style of Mondrian. They could use any medium they wanted, including lego. Once completed they produced a biography. Well done Team Resilience for some inspiring creations and keep up the great home learning. A big well done to Morgan for passing her Emerald Times Tables Award.
Team Resilience continue to enjoy their home learning with fun and creative activities. Thomas and his family have enjoyed family baking sessions; football shoot outs; walking in the countryside; and fraction challenges - great learning! Morgan continues to smash TT-Rockstars and gives all the competitiors a run for their money. Connor continues to craft, create and cook up some yummy treats. Super photos, keep them coming.
Team Resileince continue to keep their spirits high during lockdown. Some great creative works have been posted on our Google Classroom, well done keep up the great work. Happy Birthday to Morgan, who celebrated her eighth birthday at the week-end. Chloe continues to work hard and created some great posters in her window to make everyone smile. Lewis is flying through his fractions work, well done!
Last week, Team Resilience continued to show their amazing working talents at home, including their superbly supportive and creative parents. Connor is spreading the message with his amazingly creative Lego rainbow - you are awesome; Morgan has continued to practise her times tables and has passed her Platinum; and Lewis has already started his fraction work on our virtual classroom. Check out Gracie and family enjoying board games and puzzles. Alisha-Rose is loving reading and her home-made playhouse.
