Remembrance Day 2020

At 11 O'Clock this morning, our Lower School children observed a minutes silence to mark this year's remembrance day.  To mark the occasion, children from Team Courage read a selection of poetry that they have written in class, whilst children from Team Discovery read from a list of names present on the Kilburn war memorial.

We will remember them.

Bug Hotels

As part of their home learning, Team Resilience have been busy finding out all about the classification of  animals. They have reserached then created bug hotels for their visiting critters. Check out these deluxe five star hotels, including a hoverfly lagoon and ant enclosure, all carefully designed and measured using recycled materials. Another great piece of learning from Team R.

A big well done to Lewis for passing his Platinum times table award, fantastic determination.A Gracie bug hotel

Also, entries from parents too!  Alisha-Rose poem

Becky's Well Dressing

Fun was had by all creating a well dressing using leaves and petals collected from the school site to celebrate the beauty of nature. Mrs Herbert and Becky worked hard to collaborate on their submission to Mr Whiteman's new skills challenge. IMG_7925

Kandinsky Art Gallery

Team Resilience have risen to the challenge once again and produced some amazing art work. Based on the style of Kandinsky and linking to our work on angles, lines and shapes, our class have created their own interpretations with creativity, precision and skill. We can't go to the art gallery but the gallery can come to us! Enjoy our amazing artwork and watch this space for further pieces... Cody Kandinsky

I have received some fantastic photos of our maths learning on meaures and the creative juices are definitely flowing, as Team Resilience share their creative, thoughtful and fantastical stories. Alongside this our community minded families continue to do their bit, Lewis and family took part in a litter pick to keep their local environment clean and tidy. Keep up the fantastic work!
