Well, the weather has been kind to us and we have had a wonderful week in TB.
Mr Stink showed up again, bringing a lot of joy to Lower School Sessions - he has passed his DBS check so is now free to come and go as he pleases. Thankfully, he has been bathing in the pond, using the shampoo the children made last week, and as a result is a lot less whiffy now.
The children also noticed that his belly was a lot more pronounced, thanks in large part to all the apple crumble that has been made for him!
As well as spending time with Mr Stink, LS children have played Sneaky Squirrel, made more crumble and shampoo, had a go at building shelters for our new, smelly friend, or tried their hand at leaf-rubbing.
Upper school children have started the construction of their bridges. This work involved a lot of accurate measuring, drill use and saw use to cut wood to length. Additionally, other children have made crumble and produced William Morris inspired paint prints.
