Year 5 visit St. Clement's Church

On Thursday last week, our year 5 children visited St. Clement's Church in Horsley. The purpose of the visit was to learn more about the Easter story. Volunteers at the church explained the story to the children whilst also encouraging them to think about the deeper meaning of some of the events and how they help to shape Christian beliefs today. We are also studying "places of worship" during our RE lessons so this was a perfect opportunity to bring some of that learning to life. We are very grateful to all who worked hard at the church to make our trip both fun and informative. Church visit
