Severn Trent Assembly and Workshops

The children at KJS were treated to a special assembly delivered by Leanne Town from Severn Trent water.  During the assembly they learned about the importance of staying hydrated and the importance of having safe drinking water.  In reference to our Lower School topic, 'How can we protect our environment?' the children were also told about the impact of plastic pollution in our seas and waterways.

After our assembly, our year 3 and 4 children attended a workshop in which they learned how to save water.  For more information detailing how you can save water at home, please visit the Severn Trent website.
