Greetings from day three of the Year 6 residential to the wonderful White Hall Centre! The children have been all over the Peak District today with one group rock scrambling and then exploring Lud's Church (a deep moss-covered cavern full of history and myths) and another group exploring the labyrinthine tunnels of Devonshire Caverns under Matlock Bath. There was some tight squeezes to weasel through but the children fought their fears and conquered the cave! Other groups stayed around the centre today making the most of the ropes course, the zip line, the indoor cave and the infamous 'Leap of Faith' whilst another group canoed down Peak Forest canal. What an action-packed day!
