Kings and Queens of the court

In our 3-way split this afternoon, we focused on improving our agility so that we can move in a controlled manner and find space more easily in invasion games such as basketball and netball. The upper school classes were practising their offensive and defensive skills in a small 2V2 box game to become the Kings, Queens or King & Queen of the court. Working in pairs, the children aimed to get as many completed passes as possible without the defending pair intercepting the ball or forcing an error. To succeed, the children required agility, strong communication skills and spatial awareness as well as drawing upon all their tactical knowledge that they have developed this term. Well done to all involved!
