Year 6 Maya Models

Upper School have been learning about the fascinating history of the Central American Maya culture. They were clever scientists and prolific builders with intriguing and gruesome religious practices. We have also been learning about the groups of people who made up the different levels of their society from the highest kings to the lowliest slaves.

In this activity, we have been designing costumes befitting of wealthy and very important Maya citizens. The children did an amazing job!
